“Honoring Visionary Leadership: Shri. Dharmendra Pradhan’s Remarkable Initiative”

In line with PM Narendra Modi’s vision to transform Bharat into a hub of job creators, Hon’ble Minister Dharmendra Pradhan engaged with over 100 entrepreneurs trained under institutions like NIESBUD, IIE, and Skill India’s flagship PMKVY scheme.

This marks the inaugural occasion where skill ecosystem entrepreneurs are esteemed guests at Republic Day celebrations, a testament to the visionary leadership of the Hon’ble PM, as stated by Shri Dharmendra Pradhan. President Nirmaljit Singh Kalsi, Secretary Atul Kumar Tiwari, and Director General Trishaljit Sethi also graced the event.

During the gathering, entrepreneurs shared insights on how Skill India Mission’s training enhanced their capacities and problem-solving skills, aiding in unique product marketing.

They expressed gratitude to the Hon’ble Prime Minister and the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship for providing on-the-job training, empowering them to turn aspirations into reality.

Shri Dharmendra Pradhan expressed privilege in engaging with beneficiaries, witnessing their journey from entrepreneurship to self-reliance. He highlighted the government’s dedication to the poor and deprived, emphasizing the #ModiGuarantee, spanning essentials to comprehensive socio-economic security.

Invited entrepreneurs shared success stories, with individuals like Shital Tamang and Indrajit Sadhukhan applauded for reshaping growth trajectories through ventures in Sikkim and refrigeration business, respectively.

The government’s vision to make the entrepreneurial ecosystem outcome-driven and accessible is evident in schemes like PM Vishwakarma and Skill India Digital. These initiatives bridge academia-industry gaps, developing skills for India to transition into the number one start-up ecosystem.

Minister Pradhan appreciated entrepreneurs for undertaking vocational training, signaling a new era in
India’s skill development and entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurs from diverse states, including Odisha,
Kerala, Sikkim, Manipur, Delhi, West Bengal, Telangana, attended the Republic Day Parade, representing industries such as beauty & wellness, handmade, tailoring, and computer operation.

Recognizing skilling India’s youth as crucial for the startup ecosystem, MSDE initiatives aim to create a
conducive environment for growth, fueling job creation, productivity, and societal efficiency.
